EME, in full Electro Mechanic Equipment nv is a family-owned company situated in Glabbeek (Belgium). Founded in 1961 by René Vandereycken, this SME was always active in the world of electrical energy distribution and process optimization.

EME has been a valuable support for PowerCon in delivery of various switch types for medium voltage projects. The excellence in the service to assist PowerCon to special requirements to the various switch drives for succesful implementation ratifies EME position as a valuable partner.

We had the pleasure of working with EME on several of our switch-over-units. EME accepted with pleasure the challenge to develop and build a retrofit center rotating disconnector. The device is an essential part in our electrical system and has become obsolete since many years. Trough outstanding collaboration with the EME team, we were able to create a solution that fully fits into our existing systems and save many extra costs.

METAL DEPLOYE RESISTOR has been using EME Disconnectors for 30 years for the Grounding Resistors we manufacture. I have always appreciated the responsiveness, the support to find solutions and the competence of the EME Team.

Recently, I have been involved in realizing a hydrogen project for an end-customer in Australia. By establishing an interesting and close collaboration with our customer ABB Japan, we succeeded to delivery a first batch of top-notch IC-cubicles within the requested time frame. The positive feedback of our customer filled me with a lot of satisfaction, and subsequent orders of the same product we have been developping together were proof of our successful collaboration.
